The JamStats Secretariat was established in January 2007 at the PIOJ, Social Policy Planning and Research Division, with a mandate to facilitate the institutionalization of the software among stakeholders. The project has a 2.5 year lifespan which will see the establishment of a Jamstats website as well as the establishment of procedures for a sustainable annual update of the database.
