Website Launch
In October 2008, the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) will launch the JamStats website, along with the fourth version of the JamStats database and the MOE database. This new website will allow for easy access to the databases, and provide viewers with up-to-date information on the activities of the Secretariat. The 2008 version of the database includes additional indicators and current data. In addition, the MOE database will feature more detailed information on the Education sector in Jamaica.
